Health and fitness have always been a passion of mine. From a young age, my mom encouraged me to participate in many sports and outdoor activities like swimming, rock climbing, horseback riding, martial arts, volleyball, and hiking. For years I treated my body rough and with very little forgiveness which ultimately lead to injuries, some of which I am still dealing with today.

I discovered the physical and emotional healing benefits of yoga after a weightlifting accident in high school that left me with a compressed disk. My body was never the same and I was hard on myself and hated the body I was living in, but yoga saved me. Through yoga I created new strengths and learned to love myself again, it also helped me to regain mobility in my spine that I thought I would never get back. These events helped me to discover my true passion and life’s purpose: helping people through bodywork.
